Free Summer Concerts

This Summer join with locals and vacationers for the Summer Concert Series every Friday all thoughout the summer  from 6:30pm – 8:00pm on the stage in the parking lot at Museum of Coastal Carolina!

The concerts, sponsored by Town of Ocean Isle Beach and the Ocean Isle Beach Property Owners Association, feature the best of regional bands playing everything from Beach music to Bluegrass to Blues and Rock. Bands are top performers from all over both of the Carolinas.

Don’t miss these free concerts! Bring lawn chairs and let the children dance out front. Sunset Slush will be there with their mobile Italian Ice booth selling slushies etc.

May 29, 2009 – Ocean Isle Beach Concert Series

The Cousin Homer Band plays a variety of Classic Rock, Blues and original music that falls into both categories. The “CHB” is a local Ocean Isle Beach band and an area favorite.

June 5, 2009 – The Imitations

The Imitations perform Beach, Motown, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s music. Based out of Wilmington, NC. The Imitations sing live and perform to pre-recorded dance and party music ranging from Jackie Wilson to Kool And The Gang to The Temptations.

With the energy, crowd interaction, sound and light show one will quickly be in caught up in the moment and partying with us!

Sumter, South Carolina based dance/show band specializing in beach music.

They perform Beach Music, Rhythm & Blues, Soul, Country, and Big Band/Swing material. One of their specialties is audience participation.

Through careful song selection and skits, they allow the audience to become a part of the show.

The Holiday Band has been performing for nearly 20 years. Based in North Carolina the group has played dates in 11 states. Notable performances include The Lincoln Center in New York, The House Of Blues in Myrtle Beach, Mardi Gras in Mobile, Alabama, Carnival cruise on The Inspiration, Grove Park Inn in Asheville NC, and Carolina Inn in Pinehurst. The band has been voted group of the year as well as many other awards in Carolina beach music.
