Free Summer Movies!

This summer you can enjoy some of the most popular family movies for free! The nearby town of Shallotte, NC (about 8 miles from Ocean Isle Beach) will show movies every other Saturday (starting June 6th) all thoughout the summer from 6:30pm – 8:00pm at Rourk Park in downtown Shallotte, NC (across from Jerome’s Steak House).

June 6, 2009 – Tales of Desperaux

Animated movie starring the voices of: Matthew Broderick, Dustin Hoffman, Emma Watson, Tracey Ullman, Kevin Kline and William H. Macy. Its the tale of three unlikely heroes – a misfit mouse who prefers reading books to eating them, an unhappy rat who schemes to leave the darkness of the dungeon, and a bumbling servant girl with cauliflower ears – whose fates are intertwined with that of the castle’s princess.
