Ocean Isle Surf Academy

With everyone planning their Summer vacations now is the time to reserve a spot in the Ocean Isle Surf Academy. The Surf Academy offers Surf Camps, Private Surfing Lessons, Family Adventures, and Corporate Surf Outings. Ocean Isle Beach’s gentle rolling waves are perfect for beginner and intermediate surfers of all ages.

Surf Camps are offered on a weekly basis running Monday through Thursday (Friday is reserved for make up just in case of poor conditions) 8:30 – 11:00 am. Day Surf Camps are offered to ages 10 and up, as well as Little Kids Surf Camp (ages 6 to 9). The Camps run six weeks straight beginning July 6th, through August 10th. Each camp is The cost is just $235 but they have limited space for new surfers so book ahead!

The Surf Academy also offers group/individual surfing lessons on an hourly basis every day. They also conduct a Women’s Surf Camp and Overnight Teen Camp these depend on interest and usually are not scheduled until close to summer. Instructors will be starting lessons mid June when they get out of school

Surf camps include all equipment, safe soft top boards they have tents for shade, snacks and drinks. They teach basic ocean safety, paddling and positioning on board, catching waves, standing up and surfing.
